Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the HelpHood website (the "Service"). Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
1. Description of Service
HelpHood is a platform that connects individuals seeking help with tasks ("Requesters") with individuals willing to perform those tasks ("Helpers"). As a marketplace, HelpHood provides the platform for users to connect but does not employ Helpers and is not responsible for the conduct of any user of the Service.
2. User Accounts
You must create an account to use most features of the Service and must be at least 18 years of age. You are responsible for safeguarding your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
3. User Conduct and Content
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to engage in any conduct that is harmful, fraudulent, or offensive. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. You may be able to post content, including photos and text ("User Content"). You retain all rights in, and are solely responsible for, the User Content you post to the Service.
4. Tasks, Payments, and Disputes
Requesters are responsible for providing accurate details about the tasks they post. Helpers agree to perform tasks to the best of their ability. Payments for tasks are handled through our secure escrow system. The Requester funds the task amount, and the funds are released to the Helper upon confirmation of task completion. HelpHood is not a party to disputes, and in the event of a dispute between users, you release HelpHood from any claims, demands, and damages arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes.
5. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at our sole discretion, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of HelpHood and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United Kingdom and foreign countries.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of the tasks performed by Helpers. In no event shall HelpHood, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
